I’ve found this and am using it for my game on, and I’ve got a couple questions.

    1) how do you manual resize the tokens. I am only able to make something fulscale with the button.

    2) how do you name/create your own tokens?

    Shift click + drag.

    2) how do you name/create your own tokens?

Create them by joining the gallery (see “Beta Gallery” link on the right side of this page) and uploading them into your personal gallery. Then go to and you should see the tokens you uploaded.

Re-name them by double-clicking and changing the text box.

Oh … it’s the Page ID for my map I think I need … not sure how I find it :(

Once I’ve got it worked out, I’ll ping you a how to for stupid noobies like me :)

OK, it was an IE9 thing … that was stopping things being moved, dragged etc — even in compatibility mode.

I’ve loaded Firefox and I can now do “stuff” … though I still don’t know how to find the Page ID (13 digit number) for a map, or how to create it

Hey Guys, I’ve been playing around with ditzie for some online games on myth-weavers. My question is, is there a way to start with a fresh map, while retaining your gallery at the top, without removing each item individually?

Hi! Do you know if they make any plugins to
protect against hackers? I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked
    hard on. Any suggestions?

Well, to that I can only say “I do my best.”

ditzie is run on a personal server and is relatively well protected. I’m not an IT security professional, but I am in IT operations and I try to pay close attention to security concerns and follow best practices. I audit code, I do regular database backups, etc…

That said, one feature I’m planning to add to the next version of ditzie is an ability to save rendered maps to your local hard drive, or possibly a remote storage service like flickr, dropbox, or even fb (I hate fb).

I have uploaded a large image (for a background) to my gallery. When I drag it onto my new page, it shows up icon-sized. How do I make it go full size like others I’ve seen?

Also, I can’t save any maps I create. I go to (my own gallery), drag any image onto the canvas, and hit enter. I get an error “Invalid CLASSES value on c0_42648″ every time.

Long story short: that’s a bug. I’ll have to put some effort into fixing it up later today.
